You know, when the tick size (minimum fluctuation) of a commodity is a fraction of a cent (Wheat = 1/4 cent) and you look and see that it is currently up more than 100 ticks (rising more than quarter--not just nickels and dimes per day) then you know farmers are getting rich quick while consumers have to choose whether to pay their rent or eat. This, and socialized agriculture means farmers are true welfare queens.

Kord Ramberg  There isn't a single person on this board (other than myself) posting anything other than ultra-extreme bullish comments. $20/bushel? Entitled much? No one owes you anything. Wheat prices should be $3.75/bushel, or the U.S. consumer can blame farmers for tanking the economy.

and you have been wrong just saying. Calling myself entitled tells me you have no idea about much in the commodity and farming buisness. You don't even know the beginning of the expenses the farmer has. 3.75 a bu for a long period and 80% of the US Farmers go broke. Want to talk about s collapse in the economy? Farmers go broke the economy tanks. Keep talking your nonsense but in reality wheat is going to head higher. Pay up for it. It's still cheap.

Kord Ramberg  And I can tell you the moment Wheat hits $10/bu every American who has the land will start growing wheat, at $15/bu the gov't will provide subsidies for urban & suburban communities to grow wheat as well. At $20/bu the entire country imports wheat from whichever country can provide the most at the lowest price (back to sub-$4/bushel!) and traditional wheat farmers reach for a slip-noose, just as they should have by now.

Your entitled to your opinion just as I am. Quality is what buyers want. Good luck on your trade. Being bearish won't work out long term. 5 minimum is what Farmers have to have. Pay up for food. Not electronics and tech. Pay up for the best wheat in the world. No need to ever import.

Ok. Thank you for the answer! Since it seems you’re from Sweden as myself and if I’m not you’re having a business with growing vegetables- What is your outlook regarding sunspot activity and growing food in Sweden? We should be in for a ”cold ride” up here then.

2016 to present we have been in a higher low pattern and broke the long term down trend. Why short something in an uptrend unless it's very short term. Just not worth it. Go long. Wheat to 8 in a year or 2. then 9 then 10
